Ongoing renovations to the famous Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London forced 888poker LIVE to switch to a new venue for the latest stop of the popular tour, with London's loss being Manchester's gain. The Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road is putting final preparations for 888poker LIVE Manchester, a 12-day festival running between August 14-25.
Although 888poker has visited Manchester before, taking its new UK Poker League (UKPL) to the same venue, this marks the first time the 888poker LIVE proper stops in Manchester. The air in the city that brought us Oasis, The Stone Roses, and The Smiths will be filled with the sounds of riffling chips, moans about bad beats, and cheers of joy as they emerge victorious from the various events on the busy 888poker LIVE Manchester schedule.

The festival shuffles up and deals at 5:00 p.m. local time on August 14 with a £440 No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Bounty event, with a £100 Ladies Event starting an hour later.
Other events waiting for playing to get their teeth into include the £340 Big Shot, a £1,650 High Roller, a £170 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty, and the £1,100 Main Event.
The 888poker LIVE Manchester Main Event features four starting flights, including a turbo-structured Day 1c. The first flight commences at 12:00 p.m. local time on August 21, with the champion crowned sometime on August 25.
