888poker has released the fifth and final episode of its exciting World Series of Poker (WSOP) docuseries on its YouTube channel. The video series followed Team 888poker's progress in the 2024 WSOP Main Event.

Episode 4 ended with only three team members still searching for the $10 million top prize. Jack "JaackMaate" Dean, Vivian Saliba, and Aaron Barone headed into Day 3 of the $10,000 Main Event hoping to reach the money bubble, survive it, and remain in contention to become poker's world champion.

Although he managed to turn 30,000 chips into 150,500 on Day 2, the third day was Dean's last in the Main Event. Having lost a large pot with king-queen against an opponent's dominating ace-king, Dean committed the rest of his stack with jack-ten only for the same opponent to look him up with ace-jack.

Barone didn't fare much better, although he got to play with the legendary Phil Ivey. Having moved tables, Barone found himself with the 11-time bracelet winner a few seats to his left. Finding himself down to 18 big blinds, Barone three-bet shoved with pocket fives over an Ivey opening raise. Barone wanted to double up or bust at Ivey's hands, but it was not meant to be. Another player re-jammed with ace-king, and won the flip against Barone.

The eliminations of Dean and Barone left Saliba as the sole representative of 888poker. The Brazilian sensation made it to the end of Day 3 with 675,000 chips, or a shade over 84 big blinds going into Day 4.

The money bubble was expected to burst on Day 3, but the curtain came down on proceedings only seven players short of the money places.

Saliba returned for Day 4 and sailed through the money bubble, locking in at least a min-cash for her efforts. Although Saliba managed to win a few pots during the bubble period, she endured a dreadful level where she lost almost every pot she was involved in, leaving her with 11 big blinds after the scheduled dinner break.

There was no miraculous spin-up for Saliba because she found herself all-in with ace-ten against her opponent's pocket sevens, and those sevens improved to a set on the flop, and an unnecessary full house on the river. Saliba banked $27,500 for a 722nd place finish. Good game.

Although Saliba was the only 888poker team member to cash in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, you can bet your bottom dollar that each member will jet off to Las Vegas in the summer of 2025 and take another shot at becoming poker's world champion, doing so under the watchful eyes of the 888poker videographer team.
