September seems a million miles away, but the ninth month of 2024 will be upon us sooner than you think. Ensure your schedules are free from September 11-16 because that is when the WPT Prime United Kingdom festival takes place at the home of British poker, Dusk Till Dawn.
Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) has a long history of hosting World Poker Tour (WPT) events. Last May, 895 players turned out in force for the £560 buy-in WPT 500, who fought it out for a slice of the £500,000 prize pool. Aleksandrs Golubevs came out on top on that occasion, raking in £100,000 and a place in WPT's history books.
£260,000 Guaranteed WPT Prime Championship
The WPT Prime United Kingdom festival features 11 events across six days, with buy-ins ranging from £120 through to a pair of £2,200 High Roller events. The £1,100 WPT Prime Championship is the series' flagship event; it comes with £260,000 guaranteed, which includes a package to the season-ending WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
Two WPT Prime Championship flights are available. Day 1a shuffles up and deals at 12:00 p.m. BST on September 13, with Day 1b running from the same time on September 14.
All WPT Prime Championship players receive a 40,000 starting stack and play to a 40-minute clock. The blinds start at 100/200 and the big blind ante is 200.
Late registration remains until the end of Level 9, with one re-entry per flight permitted. Each Day 1 ends after the completion of 14 levels, with players enjoying breaks every three levels. Levels extend to 60 minutes on Day 2; breaks are every two levels.

The £120 Deepstack Opener kicks off the WPT Prime United Kingdom festival at 6:00 p.m. BST on September 11, the same night a £60 buy-in Main Event satellite runs.
Other events include a £120 Bounty Hunter, £2,200 Luxon Pay High Roller with £100,000 guaranteed, a £560 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo, a £175 WPT Prime Warm Up with £50,000 guaranteed, and a £2,200 buy-in, £100,000 guaranteed 7-Max No-Limit Hold'em High Roller.
