More details have been released about the Maryland State Poker Championship at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland later this month, with the PokerStars-sponsored event boasting an 18-event schedule with $1 million guaranteed across the festival.
The event runs from July 31-August 12 is one of two NAPT Regional events that offer players the chance to qualify for the NAPT in Las Vegas in November.

Win a Gold Pass to NAPT Las Vegas
Not only is the event full of exciting poker action, there will also be three opportunities for players to win their way to the North American Poker Tour stop in Las Vegas in November. Three different events will award Gold Pass packages to the event that includes travel, accommodation and buy-in to the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event.
- The last online qualifier standing in the $600 No-Limit Hold'em event (July 31-August 4) will be awarded a Gold Pass
- Any player who knocks out a PokerStars Ambassador in the $400 6-Max Championship (August 4) will pick a mystery prize, one of which will be a Gold Pass.
- The $500k GTD $2,200 Main Event (August 9-12) will have a Gold Pass added for the Champion.
Path to NAPT
Players can also win their way to the MSPC and Las Vegas through 'Path to NAPT' which offers a free chance to win every day.
Whether it's a $1,000 Silver Pass package that includes the $600 NLH event at the MSPC + $400 cash or traditional online satellites to participate in the $600 NLH or $2,200 Main Event at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland.

What is a Gold Pass to NAPT Las Vegas

The NAPT Las Vegas Gold pass not only sees you enter the $5,300 NAPT Las Vegas Main Event (November 5-10), but winners also receive $1,800 in travel cash and a seven-night hotel stay for the winner and one guest at Resorts World Las Vegas (November 4-11).
