The 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been taking place in Las Vegas, while WSOP.com had a 30-event bracelet schedule for the merged market of Nevada/New Jersey/Michigan. There's also the segregated market of Pennsylvania, which features a seven-event bracelet schedule that kicked off on June 2 and will run through July 14.
Pennsylvania's Zach "CaptainLevi" Gruneberg, the reigning WSOP PA Online Player of the Year, captured his second career gold bracelet after taking down WSOP PA's Online Bracelet Event #2 - NL Hold'em PKO, while a week before Frank "D.Lafferty" Bonnacci took down Event #1: NLH Bankroll Builder for $20,731.19.

The 170-entry field resulted in a $76,500 prize pool that was paid out to the top 30 finishers. After a little over five hours of play, it was Kyle "KMILLER1979" Miller defeating Jacob "RomeoBlues" Smith in heads-up play to win the tournament for $17,151.30 and his first online bracelet.

Laypo Lays Claim to Event #4 Bracelet
On Sunday, June 23, Event #4: $500 NL Hold'em Mystery Bounty attracted 147 players who rebought 84 times. The 231-entry field resulted in a $103,950 prize pool that was paid out to the top 36 finishers. It took nearly 10 hours of play before Troy "2fish1hand" Laypo bested Thomas "elliis502" Lobbe in heads-up play to win the tournament for $11,453.68, which along with a $1,000 bounty gave them a total payday of $12,453.68 to go along with his first gold bracelet.
While Laypo won the bracelet, he actually didn't win the most money in the tournament thanks to the Mystery Bounty format. That honor went to Leno "Nutzey" Thomas, who finished in fourth place for $4,369.95. Along with $9,533.33 in bounties that gave him a tournament-high payout of $13,903.28.
