The Irish Poker Tour Portugal Adventure boasts €400,000 in guaranteed prize pools, including a €250,000 guaranteed Main Event costing €700 to enter.
The Irish Poker Tour has exploded since launching two years ago. While most of its stops have been around Ireland, as you would expect, the tour has twice stopped off in London and is now setting sail for sunny Portugal for its latest ambitious festival.
The Irish Poker Tour, along with Paddy Power Poker, have plowed countless hours into the planning of the Portugal Adventure, and it should be a roaring success. Tournaments range from €150 No-Limit Hold'em freezeouts to €400 Mystery Bounty, €1,650 High Rollers, Pot-Limit Omaha events, and the huge Portugal Adventure Main Event.
€250,000 Guaranteed Portugal Adventure Main Event
Costing €700, the Portugal Adventure Main Event is one of the highest buy-in Main Events the Irish Poker Tour has run. Main Event players take their seats behind a 50,000 starting stack and play to 25-minute levels where the blinds and antes start at 100/100/100. One re-entry before the end of the ninth level is permitted on each of the six flights, with Day 1F featuring slightly faster levels of 15 minutes.
Each Day 1 concludes at the end of the 15th level, with surviving players progressing to the final day on June 23, where levels extend to 40 minutes.
