888poker XL Spring Series

The 888poker XL Spring Series is rapidly nearing its thrilling conclusion, and that means time is of the essence if you want to become the festival's Main Event champion. This year's XL Spring Series Main Event comes with an $888 buy-in and an impressive $1 million guaranteed prize pool, making it one of the largest events to take place at 888poker in 2024.

A seven figure guaranteed prize pool is not to be sniffed at, so how can you get involved in the XL Spring Series Main Event at 888poker? Buying in direct for $888 is the most obvious route, although PokerNews and 888poker are aware that such a chunky buy-in is outside the constraints of many online poker players. Thankfully, there are plenty of satellites for you to get your teeth into if you want to play in this $1 million guaranteed tournament.

Those satellites start at a single cent! The $0.01 buy-in $1,000,000 XL Spring – Main Event – Pennybuy satellites award tickets to the next level of the satellite tree, which are $2.20 buy-in Sub Satellite to $11 Subsat tickets. Make it through the $11 Sub Satellite to $90 Sat, and you'll receive a $90 to the Main Event seat-awarding satellite. These satellites run throughout the day, giving you ample opportunities to play and win your way into the XL Spring Series Main Event.

Remaining XL Spring Series Main Event Day 1s

Only seven XL Spring Series Main Event flights remain on the schedule, with their times shown in the table below. Each Day 1 sees players enter the mix with 10,000 chips, with unlimited re-entries available for the first 240 minutes. Blinds start at 20/40/5a, and increase every 15 minutes.

Day 1 concludes at the end of the 19th level or when only 13% of the flight's field remains, whichever comes sooner. Surviving players progressed to Day 2 at 9:00 p.m. BST on May 27 with a min-cash in tow. Mystery bounties, one of which is guaranteed to be a cool $100,000, are in play from the start of Day 2, which is also when PokerNews' live reporting coverage begins.

Before the March 24 Main Event Day 1, some 825 players had bought in but only 114 had navigated their way to Day 2. "Regis_R69" is the player to catch, having turned their 10,000 starting stack into a tournament-leading 237,447 during their chosen flight.

As you can see, you'll need to finish your Day 1 with 142,061 chips to return to the action with a top ten chip stack.
