SCOOP League 2024

The inaugural SCOOP League is one week down, and there are some familiar faces at the top of the leaderboard.

After over 80 winners have been crowned, no drafted player has won an event, but there have been some close calls, and the overall lead changes daily.

Overall SCOOP League Standings

Lex Veldhuis

However, after five days, Lex Veldhuis leads the way, with a gap of over 500 points to Spraggy in second place.

The fact that Lex and Spraggy are leading the SCOOP League is down to the fact that the pair both achieved third-place finishes in the opening week. First, Spraggy turned a $109 satellite into a $52,000 score in SCOOP 16-M: $1,050 NLHE Super Tuesday.

Then, the following evening, Veldhuis followed it up with a third-place finish in SCOOP 31-H: $1,050 NLHE [6-Max, Turbo, Mystery Bounty].

However, the pair have seen their teams record wins as Spraggy saw Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson win his eighth SCOOP title before Lex banked wins from Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen and Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov.

Individual Player Standings (May 5-11)

Both Veldhuis and Spraggy feature in the top 10 for individual player performance in the SCOOP League, and it's their players who feature at the top of the counts.

Denis Strebkov

Denis "aDrENalin710" Strebkov's win last night has seen him take over as the leading overall points scorer, slightly ahead of "FAL1st" who won the low leaderboard and overall leaderboard of the 2023 SCOOP and is putting up a good effort again this year.

Patrick Leonard

Patrick "pads1161" Leonard (pictured) hasn't been able to add to his seven SCOOP titles, but has had a strong performance over the opening week to lead slightly from Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson in fourth, who won his eighth title in SCOOP 16-H: $10,300 NLHE [Super Tuesday High Roller] along with a $186,000 payday — the largest of the series so far.

The only other players in the Top 10 who has bagged themselves a title are Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen and Niklas "Lena900" Astedt, while the best-placed Team Fintan player is "flerrehuve" sitting in 17th place overall.
