Daniel Negreanu and Seth Davies were among the big winners during the recently completed PokerGO Tour PLO Series, but two other players won multiple events.

There were 10 PLO events during the series with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200. Play wrapped on Friday with the $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Dealer's Choice, which attracted 21 entrants and was won by James Calderaro for $56,700.

Davies Claims Biggest Win of the Series

Seth Davies, one of the top high stakes pros in the world, had another monster win on Friday when he took down Event #9: $25,200 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship for $522,000, beating out 72 entrants in a tough field. He was the only player able to cool off Samuli Sipila during this series.

Sipila, who won two events, finished in second place for $342,000, a career-best live tournament cash. The Finnish poker player now has over $1.7 million in live tournament cashes. As for Davies, the win put him over the $25 million mark lifetime.

As mentioned, Sipila won multiple events. His first title of the PLO series came in Event #4: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha for $240,300, where he defeated 89 players, including runner-up Stefan Christopher ($155,750). He also shipped Event #7: $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Progressive Bounty for $159,840 plus bounties. In that tournament, he outlasted 74 entrants. Jim Collopy took second place for the same amount via a heads-up chop.

In no surprise, Sipila, who recorded four final table appearances in 10 events, won the overall series crown. But he wasn't the only player to win multiple events. Eelis Parssinen won two, starting with Event #2: $7,600 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty for $131,325 plus bounties, beating out 103 entrants. Isaac Kempton earned a runner-up finish, which paid $64,975.

Less than a week later, Parssinen conquered Event #8: $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha for $348,600, a tournament with 83 players registered. He bested Alex Foxen, who won $224,100, heads-up for the win.
