RGPS San Diego Taking Place Feb. 20-25 Will Have $125K GTD Main Event

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) continues this month, and the latest stop will see the award-winning poker tour heading back to Jamul Casino in San Diego. The RGPS San Diego stop, running Feb. 20-25, will culminate with a $600 buy-in Main Event that has a $125,000 guarantee attached.

In addition to the Main Event, which will be live reported by PokerNews, the RGPS San Diego stop will feature a handful of ring events and will bring out the RunGood ambassadors.

Win a RunGood Ring in San Diego

Action in San Diego will kick off with $200 buy-in Seniors Ring Event on Feb. 20, an event with a $10,000 guarantee attached. Later in the day, there will be a $5,000 guaranteed Series Opener Ring Event and a $10,000 guaranteed Ambassador Bounty Ring Event, both of which cost $200 to enter.

Other highlights through the RGPS San Diego stop include a $300 buy-in Tag Team Double Ring Event, a $200 buy-in Double Green Chip Bounty Ring Event and a $200 buy-in Closer NLH Ring Event that will close out the series.

The RGPS Main Event will feature three starting flights, the first of which will take place on Feb. 23. Flights B and C will play out on Feb. 24 ahead of Day 2 on Feb. 25, which will crown a winner.

Players looking for a cheap way to play the series are in luck as there are already satellites underway starting at $85 and climbing to $145.

At the last RGPS San Diego stop in November 2023, local Derrick Yamada got through a field of 299 players in the Main Event before reaching a heads-up deal with Steve Hoang to win the ring and $31,545.

After wrapping up in San Diego, the RunGood team is will head to Mississippi for RGPS Tunica, a stop that will take place Feb. 27-March 3 and will feature a $200,000 guaranteed Main Event.
