888poker KO Games Main Event Overlay Edition

Arguably the best value online poker tournament in recent memory, the 888poker KO Games Main Event Overlay Edition, is in full swing. The tournament has a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool despite only costing $25 to enter, hence the overlay in its title. As expected, the KO Games Main Event Overlay Edition is set for a juicy overlay, yet 888poker has decided to add even more value by placing a $109 bounty on the head of former professional fighter, Dan Hardy.

Nottingham's Hardy, known in fighting circles as "The Outlaw," has 35 professional fights, including ten in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) before hanging up his gloves in 2012. Hardy's inclusion in this epic tournament continues 888poker's link to the Professional Fighters League (PFL), a partnership announced in late November.

During his professional fighting career, only one person managed to knock out Hardy and stop him in his tracks. Carlos Condit was that man at UFC 120. Now, you are tasked with knocking out The Outlaw in the 888poker KO Games Main Event Overlay Edition. Hardy will enter the fray at 7:30 p.m. GMT on December 6.

Eliminate Hardy from this value-packed tournament and you will not only help yourself to the hardman's chips, but 888poker will award you a $109 tournament ticket. You could use that ticket to buy into the $100,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty event on December 10 if you should so wish.

Several KO Games Main Event Overlay Edition flights are already in the bad. Indeed, at the time of writing, 4,175 players had bought in, with 677 of those entrants progressing to Day 2.

Croatian "brainiac1" is the player to catch right now, having turned their 12,000 starting stack into a tournament-leading 448,724 chips. Only Ukraine's "Yarik_PRO_1" with 409,380 has over 400,000 chips.

Should you want to finish in the top ten of the Day 2 chip counts, you'll need to accumulate a stack of at least 245,359 chips.

Over $1 Million Guaranteed in the 888poker KO Games Overlay Edition

Reaching Day 2 should be your primary goal at all costs because that is when the mystery bounty envelopes are put in play. Mystery bounties become available from Level 18 onwards, and some of them are huge.

There are $200, and $600 bounties up for grabs, plus six $2,000 bounties, and a pair of $6,000 mystery bounties. However, one lucky 888poker player will open a golden mystery bounty envelope and reveal a whopping $20,000 payday!
