Cards For Kindness

Poker players everywhere will have a chance to play for a $10,000 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event seat this week in a charity event that will raise money for youth.

The Cards For Kindness Poker Tournament, a virtual event taking place on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., will support the Riley's Way Foundation, a nonprofit that strives to "empower a youth-led movement, providing young people with the programs, support, and inclusive community they need to thrive as changemakers."

Poker player Ian Sandler founded the Riley's Way Foundation after the death of his 9-year-old daughter. The Cards For Kindness Poker Tournament, which supports the nonprofit's mission, gives poker players a chance to raise money for a good cause while playing for various prizes.

The tournament will take place on Zoom and has a $250 buy-in with various rebuy and add-on opportunities available. Each player will start with 7,500 chips with the option to add on to 15,000.
