EAPT Bucharest

The latest leg of the new look EAPT is only days away, with the 888 Poker Room Bucharest playing host from November 3-12. A €560 buy-in €180,000 guaranteed EAPT Bucharest Main Event is among the busy schedule, and PokerNews is delighted to reveal its live reporting team will be in Romania throughout the Main Event, bringing you live and exclusive updates.

The 2023 EAPT Bucharest festival springs into action in the evening of November 3 with the first of four flights in the €30,000 guaranteed EAPT Cup. The EAPT Cup crowns its worthy champion on November 5.

€180,000 in Guaranteed Cash Plus €20,000 in EAPT Grand Final Packages in the Main Event

EAPT Bucharest Main Event players have the chance to play in up to four Day 1s, including a turbo-charged Day 1D. All Main Event players exchange €560 for a 40,000 chip stack and play to 40-minute levels (25 minutes on Day 1D) until only 15% of the field remains. Those top 15% progress to Day 2 on November 11, having locked in a min-cash for their efforts.

In addition to a €180,000 guarantee on the EAPT Bucharest Main Event's prize pool, the EAPT is adding €20,000 worth of EAPT Grand Final packages. Finish in the top four spots, and a €5,000 package is all yours, opening the door to compete in the EAPT Grand Final in Cyprus in September 2024.

Do not worry if the €560 buy-in for the EAPT Bucharest Main Event is a little out of your reach because several €60 buy-in satellites are running during the run-up to and during the Main Event's fights. These live satellites will see at least 57 players win their way into the €180,000 guaranteed tournament.

€30,000 Guaranteed High Roller

During the final weekend of the festival, anyone with €1,100 burning a hole in their pocket or who has won one of the nine seats guaranteed in the pair of €125 buy-in satellites can play in the EAPT Bucharest High Roller. The EAPT has slapped a €30,000 guarantee in the High Roller's prize pool, which we do not envisage seeing an issue in it being blown out of the water.
