PokerStars Ambassador David Kaye Among NACOOP Day 4 Winners

The 2023 North American Championship of Online Poker (NACOOP) continued on Monday with the fourth day of the series, and it ended with PokerStars ambassador David Kaye finishing among the 12 winners.
The series takes place in three states — Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Each day until Oct. 2, there are a number of tournaments with juicy prize pools. There are two separate NACOOP series, one on the MI/NJ shared PokerStars platform (USCOOP), and the other takes place on the PokerStars Pennsylvania site (PACOOP).
Players in the United States are joined by Ontario in their quest for a share of some big guarantees – as well as a Vegas Gold Pass, which will send players to the relaunch of the NAPT in Las Vegas before they spend three days at the Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The full package is worth $20,030, and it includes:
- Seat in the $5,300 NAPT Las Vegas High Roller (November 10-12)
- 3-day pass for two (November 16-18) for Oracle Red Bull Racing Fan Experience in Las
Vegas - 9 nights hotel accommodation for two (November 10-19) at Resorts World Las Vegas,
including taxes and resort fees. - $4,000 towards flights and expenses.

Six Champions Crowned in PACOOP
The 2023 PACOOP produced some huge fields during the first three days and 18 events. Monday was no exception. There were six tournaments on the schedule, highlighted by the $250 buy-in Battle Royale Championship, a $50,000 guaranteed no-limit hold'em knockout tournament.
When registration closed with 250 players, the prize pool reached $58,250, easily surpassing the guarantee. After the final hand was dealt at the final table, "redactedcartel" was the only player still standing and took home a $4,548 prize. The champion won even more in bounties — $9,542.

There were five other big winners in Pennsylvania on NACOOP Day 4 — "albahrad," "KennytheRipper," "naveyesu," "Jesushadgr8abs," and "MyMonkeyJones." In the $100 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout tournament (Event #22), which had a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool, "naveyesu" beat out 163 entrants for a $3,022 score.

PokerStars Ambassador Wins a USCOOP Title
Those watching Kaye, a PokerStars ambassador, live-stream his action in the $250 buy-in Battle Royale Championship of the USCOOP series (Event #20) were ecstatic to see him win the $5,510 first place prize, along with nearly twice as much in bounties ($9,660). He won $14,770 total for besting a field of 307 entrants.

On the final hand, which you can view above, he flopped bottom set and was up against the king-high flush draw of "Tagubhai." The river was the dream card for Kaye as it gave his opponent top pair, but the flush draw missed. He was able to extract maximum value on the river by getting his opponent to call of his entire stack.

Much like in the PACOOP, there were another five champions crowned in the USCOOP. Those individuals are "Prometheused," "OJLimpsinnnn," "ShrimplyPibs," "Stak62," and "jdrisco6." In the $100 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout (Event #22), "ShrimplyPibs" beat a field of 267 entrants for $4,677.
