Three more champions have been crowned in the 2023 Poker Masters series at PokerGO Studios in Las Vegas and only two more tournaments remain before the newest Purple Jacket winner is crowned at Aria Casino & Resort.

Orpen Kisacikoglu captured the final $10,000 buy-in of the series and Nick Schulman picked up a win in the first of three $25,000 events before the $50,000 series finale. Also taking down a $25,000 event was Stephen Chidwick, who made two final tables in the last three events.

Light Work for Kisacikoglu

The sixth event of the series drew 95 entrants and Kisacikoglu had a relatively easy ride to the biggest share of a $218,500 prize pool. He beat out a final table that included an early exit from WSOP Main Event champion Ryan Riess and the latest deep run for Chino Rheem.

Kisackikoglu held most of the chips after he eliminated Rheem in fourth place, and he had what amounted to a 14-to-1 lead when it came down to just Jack Hardcastle. The win was good for $218,500.

Schulman Champ, TKO's Petrangelo

The first $25,000 event of the series drew 44 players and Schulman claimed victory for $374,000 from a total prize pool of $1,100,000. It was a hard-fought win to overcome Nick Petrangelo's chip lead, but the back-to-back eliminations of Victoria Livschitz and Chris Brewer propelled Schulman to a win over a final three that also included Brian Rast.

A few more entries went through the window for Event #8 and Chidwick outlasted the field of 50 to take the top prize of $400,000. The total prize pool of $1,250,000 was shared among several others, including second-place finisher Sam Soverel and Alex Foxen. Brewer found his way to his second final table in a row, and Rheem closed some ground in the points race with another final table.

Chidwick had an easy day after he entered the final table with well more than half of the chips in play. The champ worked quickly on the rest of the table and beat Soverel after he entered heads-up play with an 8-to-1 advantage.
