Andrew Robl, one of the top high roller cash game pros ever, made his presence felt during Season 11's sixth episode of High Stakes Poker, which first aired Monday night on PokerGO.

Five of the six players at the table began Episode 6 with $1 million or more in front of them, and the entire table had just under $8 million combined. Robl, as he often does, had everyone covered with $2,232,000. Ferdinand Putra, Jean-Robert Bellande, Rob Yong, and Rick Salomon were also in the seven-figure territory, while Charles Yu started the show with $678,000. Full chip counts prior to the first hand being dealt were as follows:

PlayerChip Stack
Andrew Robl$2,232,000
Ferdinand Putra$1,354,000
Jean-Robert Bellande$1,334,000
Rob Yong$1,320,000
Rick Salomon$1,000,000
Charles Yu$678,000

When the cameras began rolling for Episode 6, the same six players were in action as last week. But even more money sat on the table than during Episode 5, and the action picked up a bit.

Yong picked up KK right off the bat and raised the straddled pot up to $10,000. He received calls from Putra, who had 54, and Yu, sitting on QJ.

The first flop of the night came out 6AJ, and the ace forced Yong to take caution with pocket kings. Everyone checked and then Yong bet $10,000 on the 6 turn. Yu, with middle pair, made the call and the 2 was the river card.

Yong went for value, betting out $20,000, and was able to get paid off. On the ensuing hand, he went for some more blood with A10 in a three-bet pot. With $103,000 already in the middle, the flop came out 748.

Salomon, with 43, bet $40,000 on bottom pair and only Yu, with A7 made the call. The turn was an eventful 3 as it gave Salomon two pair for the best hand, but Yu picked up a flush draw and had a plethora of outs.

Salomon made it $80,000 and received a call before seeing the 10 on the river. Both players checked and two pair was good enough to take down the $343,000 pot.

Yu Makes a Play

On the following hand, Bellande opened it up to $11,000 from an early position with Q6. Robl then three-bet it to $40,000 with a real hand – AK. Yu, perhaps looking to recoup his losses from the previous hand, made a four-bet raise to $200,000 with the exact same hand – A7.

Robl then jammed all in and had his opponent, who had $484,000 total, well covered. Yu was pot committed and almost forced to call, so he put his chips in far behind Big Slick. The flop came out 469, giving the weaker hand some hope with a flush draw.

When the 8 appeared on the turn, it added a straight draw to the flush draw. Yu had 18 outs heading to the river, which was the K, and the first run out went to Robl.

On the second board, the flop of K58 all but ensured Robl would take the full $982,000 pot. When the 10 showed up on the turn, it sealed the deal. Yu, who started the episode with nearly $700,000, was out of chips but he grabbed $500,000 worth of chips from his bag to get back into the game.

Later in the show, JRB went to make a play against Putra with KQ. After Putra three-bet to $85,000 preflop with AQ, Bellande made it $270,000 and the aggression paid off as his opponent folded his cards.

With $48,000 in the middle to the flop of 3105, action checked to Robl, who bet $30,000 with AJ. The only problem for the high roller legend is he was up against the nuts and a monster draw, so that bet had no chance of getting through.

Salomon went for a check-raise to $125,000 with 1010, which brought a bit of caution to Yu, who held 74 for both straight and flush draws. Still, he called with the monster combo draw while Robl had an easy decision to fold.

The turn was the 8, which didn’t change anything. Salomon, still holding the nuts, led for $270,000, polarizing his bet. Yu, who had 10 outs, made the call, leaving about $240,000 behind. But he completely bricked the A river and folded instantly to an all in wager.

Yong would then run into a bit of a cooler with AK when he four-bet to $175,000, but then folded to an all in jam against Bellande, who was sitting on AA.

On the final hand of the Episode 6, Robl's aggression with 107 worked against him. He raised to $15,000 preflop from the small blind and received a call from Putra and his 88 in the big blind. The flop was A83.

Despite missing any part of that flop, Robl made a continuation bet of $15,000, which earned a call from middle set. The turn was the Q, leaving Robl drawing deal. But he still went for an over-bet, this time for $95,000. Again, his opponent just called, perhaps attempting to give off the flush draw vibes.

When the river 3 turned over, Robl downsized his bet to $40,000, likely hoping Putra had been on a flush draw that missed and wouldn't be able to call even a one-seventh pot bet. Putra, however, had a full house and went for a raise to $250,000, forcing Robl off the pot.

It was an up-and-down episode for Robl, but he finished the show up around $400,000 despite the final hand misstep.
