Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) players are set to travel to King's Resort, Rozvadov, from far and wind for the latest edition of The Big Wrap. Running from September 12-18, The Big Wrap is a week-long PLO festival with combined guarantees of €4 million. As you would expect from such a prestigious series, the PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on the ground throughout, bringing you all of the action from three of the biggest events.
PokerNews' coverage begins on September 13 with The Big Wrap Diamond 10K PLO High Roller, a two-day affair that is guaranteed to attract some of the biggest names in the business to King's Resort, not least because it has a €2 million guaranteed prize pool. A similar-sized buy-in event took place at King's in March, although it featured a €500,000 guarantee. A field of 142 players created a €1,308,530 prize pool, which the anonymous champion scooped €337,000 from.
Running alongside the Platinum event is The Big Wrap 2K PLO Main Event, a €2,350 buy-in tournament with €500,000 guaranteed to be won. Both starting flights play until the end of the 11th 45-minute level, with late registration available for the first two levels of Day 2. It would be a significant surprise if the Main Event's final prize pool is not way more than the advertised guarantee.
