The $350,000 guaranteed Main Event of the PokerStars 50/50 Series concluded on June 19, and it was Ukraine's "IamTABASCO" who was the last player standing. The victory came with a spicy $37,784, made up of a $21,910 score from the main prize pool, plus an additional $15,847 worth of bounties.
Some 8,950 players bought into the 50/50 Series Main Event, and created a $406,777 prize pool. Among the entrants were Team PokerStars' Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis and Jasse Jagd "Wistern" Lauritsen. Veldhuis failed to reach the money places but Lauritsen finished in 875th for $42.
By the time the nine-handed final table was set, the least anyone could take home was $1,705 plus their bounty haul.

Norway's "geovir" was the first player eliminated from the final table; they took home $1,906 for their troubles.
"DoryanGh" and "mmosna" were the next casualties. Their untimely demises made a little easier to take by the $3,115 and $5,175 to collected.
Then came the exit of "John_Player_Red" in fifth, a finish worth $6,391 in total. That bust out locked in a five-figure sum for the surviving five players, when you include bounty payments.
Brazil's "oliverya1947!??" banked $10,090 after falling in fifth, with "3L3CTRO.89" collecting $10,453 for their fourth-place finish.
The heads-up stage was reached when "alexkit13" of Moldova fell by the wayside and padded their PokerStars balance with $15,412.
Heads-up pitted "IamTABASCO" against "HugoFabri." Both players were guaranteed more than $21,900 from the main prize pool, but the final bounty haul for one of them would weigh in at more than $15,000. In the end, it was "IamTABASCO" who emerged victoriously, reeling in $37,784, leaving "HugoFabri" to scoop a $24,901 consolation prize.
