The home of British poker, Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, is once again hosting the WPT500 UK festival, which includes a £560 buy-in £500,000 guaranteed Main Event that is sure to lure in players from around the United Kingdom, Europe, and much further afield.

It will be the fourth time the World Poker Tour has partnered with Dusk Till Dawn for the WPT500 festival. The inaugural WPT500 UK Main Event occurred in November 2014, and saw law graduate Eleanor Gudger outlast 2,132 opponents on her way to collecting £140,000.

Wales' Richard Harris came out on top in November 2015, besting a start-studded field of 1,616 entrants, and earning £150,000 in the process.

October 2016 was the last time Dusk Till Dawn held the WPT500 UK Main Event in its incredible club. Benjamin Winsor helped himself to £182,700 after navigating his way through the pack of 1,835 players.

There has been one live WPT500 UK event since Winsor's victory. it took place in April 2018 at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford, London, and saw Gary Miller collect £114,000 after overcoming 1,809 opponents.

2023 WPT500 UK Schedule

The 2023 WPT500 UK schedule is packed full of satellites and side events, but it is the £560 buy-in £500,000 guaranteed WPT500 UK Main Event that everyone has their eye on.

WPT500 UK Main Event features five starting flights, with players sitting down armed with a generous helping of 50,000 chips. Each Day 1 lasts for fourteen 30-minute levels where blinds start at 100/200 and a 200 big blind ante.

Day 2 sees another 11 levels played, with those levels extended to 40 minutes. Day 2 starts at Level 26, and blinds are 60 minutes long until the champion is crowned.

Two other side events have six-figure guaranteed prize pools, too. Check out the £2,200 Super High Roller and its £100,000 guarantee, and the £1,100 High Roller complete with £100,000 in its prize pool.
