Sunday Storm

Hot on the heels of the 18th Anniversary Sunday Million, the big brains over at PokerStars are gearing up for another anniversary special as part of the Sunday Million Season. On Sunday, April 14, the platform celebrates 13 years of the Sunday Storm on April 14.

The Sunday Storm is a hugely popular low-stakes tournament. It usually has a $100,000 guarantee for just $11. Despite its low cost, the tournament regularly attracts thousands of players from all over the world, all vying for a share of the prize pool.

Now, to mark the special occasion for the tournament, the upcoming edition of the Sunday Storm is set to be even bigger and better than usual, with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000. That's five times more than normal for the exact same buy-in!

What is the Sunday Storm?

The Sunday Storm is a no-limit hold'em tournament. The anniversary edition is scheduled for April 14 and will kick off at 7:05 p.m. WET.

This special instalment of the Sunday Storm will operate as a Progressive Knockout, meaning you can start making money long before the money bubble bursts.

The 13th Anniversary Sunday Storm has a late-registration period of four hours and 55 minutes, giving players plenty of time to register for one of the best-value events of the year.

How to Qualify on the Cheap

PokerStars is the home of Spin and Go Poker, so it's no surprise that the platform offers Spin and Go satellites to the Sunday Storm Anniversary, which run on demand.

Spin and Go poker games are three-handed poker tournaments which take minutes to complete, and the cost for these special edition satellites is just $0.50.

Satellites are also running around the clock and begin from as low as $0.55

The buy-in for the mega satellites is just $1.10, and there will also be freerolls feeding into them.
