PartyPoker Grand Prix Spring

PartyPoker has revealed the schedule for the Grand Prix Spring festival, so make sure you have March 16 through April 3 clear in your diaries because you do not want to miss any of the events on the schedule.

Grand Prix Spring features 12 numbered events costing between $1.10 and $55, and with guaranteed prize pools starting at $1,000 and increasing to an impressive $250,000. Throw into the mix, up to six side events each day, and you have all the necessary ingredients for a fantastic low-to-mid-stakes online poker tournament festival.

Opener PKO Events Kick off Grand Prix Spring Series

Three Opener PKO events get the Grand Prix Spring series off the ground on March 16. They come with buy-ins of $1.10, $5.50, and $33, and guaranteed prize pools worth $2,500, $15,000, and $75,000. Those are ambitious numbers, which is why each features 19 flights feeding into Day 2 on March 20.

$310,000 Guaranteed Across a Trio of Main Events

A trio of Grand Prix Spring Main Events shuffle up and deal for the first time on March 16; each crowns its champion on April 3. Grand Prix Spring Main Events command affordable buy-ins of $2.20, $11, and $55. Buying into those tournaments sees you battle it out for the lion's share of a guaranteed $10,000, $50,000, and $250,000, respectively.

All three Main Events follow the exact same structure regardless of their buy-ins. This means everyone sits down with a 100,000 starting stack, plays to an eight-minute clock, and blinds start at 400/800/100a. One re-entry per flight is permitted, but it must be bought before the end of the tenth level, when late registration slams shut.

The curtain comes down on each Main Event Day 1 when only 15% of the field has chips in front of them. If you are one of those people, your stack is taken through to Day 2 on April 3 at 8:05 p.m. GMT along with a min-cash for your efforts.
