Chrysalis “GO ALL IN” Charity Poker Night

On Wednesday, May 3, the Southern California nonprofit Chrysalis “GO ALL IN” Poker Night will return to Los Angeles' luxury landmark hotel, Fairmont Century Plaza. It marks the sixth edition of the Chrysalis “GO ALL IN” Poker Night, which has traditionally attracted a slew of celebrities including Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines and Glee and The Office star Kevin McHale.

The annual event will feature a night of competitive play, buffet dinner, cocktails, a silent auction, and prizes for the first, second, and third-place finishers. Latham & Watkins and Ernst & Young (EY) are returning as Title Sponsors for the event, which has raised over $650,000 since 2016.

Last year, Jakson Alvarez, a member of the Chrysalis Young Professionals Advisory Council, won the tournament and for his prize chose a trip for two to Catalina Island. Meanwhile, actress Mimi Rogers finished in second place while the aforementioned Kevin McHale took third.

While the exact lineup is to be determined, Chrysalis officials did confirm to PokerNews that they will once again be inviting celebrity guests to the event.

The charity event will help raise funds for Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization that helps clients navigate barriers to the workforce by preparing for, finding, and retaining employment through Chrysalis’ job-readiness program, individualized supportive services, and paid transitional employment.

“Chrysalis Poker Night is sure to be an exciting evening and opportunity for attendees to GO ALL IN to support our mission in changing lives through jobs,” said Mark Loranger, President & CEO of Chrysalis. “The critical work of Chrysalis empowers our clients on their pathway to stability, security, and fulfillment in their work and lives.”
