PokerStars Omaha Week

No-Limit Texas Hold'em is the most popular poker variant but Pot-Limit Omaha has legions of fans, and those players should be delighted to learn about the PokerStars Omaha Week. Running from November 28 through December 4, Omaha Week features 24 numbered events, dozens of side events, with each and every one of them played as PLO, PLO8, 5-Card PLO, or NLO8. It's time to brush up on your Omaha poker skills!

Omaha Week shuffles up and deals at 4:05 p.m. GMT on November 28 with the $55 buy-in $10,000 guaranteed Omaha Week Kickoff. Three other events and four side events are also scheduled for Day 1, including a $162 buy-in PKO Monday Special with $15,000 guaranteed.

PLO high rollers have a handful of big buy-in events to get their teeth into. At 7:30 p.m. GMT on November 29, there is a $530 buy-in Super Tuesday where not a cent less than $25,000 will be won. Two days later, but at the some start time, the $25,000 guaranteed $530 buy-in Thursday Thrill gets underway.

Two Omaha Week Main Events cap off what should be an incredibly exciting week of four and five-card Omaha action. Both commence at 6:15 p.m. GMT with the Low Main Event costing $22 and the High Main Event commanding a $215 buy-in. Guarantees for the Main Event are $50,000 and $100,000, respectively.

Main Event players battle it out to the same structure regardless of the tournament's buy-in. This means everyone sits down with 100,000 chips, and plays blinds starting at 250/500/60a. Blinds increase every 10 minutes in the $22 edition and every 15 minutes in the $215 Omaha Week Main Event.
