partypoker's Grand Prix KO Autumn Edition kicked off yesterday while the XL Retro Series begins this Sunday (October 9). Both series feature exciting events that you won't want to miss out on.
Over $1.9 Guaranteed in Grand Prix KO Autumn Edition
Running from October 6-24, over $1.9 million is guaranteed in the platform's Grand Prix KO Autumn Edition. A whopping 11 progressive knockout tournaments are scheduled across the series and features events suitable to all bankrolls. Buy-ins vary from $11 all the way up to $320.
One thing that is really cool in this online festival is that these events only allow one re-entry and have limited late registration. This helps level out the playing field, something that partypoker has been championing for a long time.

While six events began on yesterday's opening day, you can still hop into the several opening events as they have multiple Day 1s. All players who navigate the starting flights will lock up the min-cash as each player who makes Day 2 will be in the money.
The Grand Prix KO Autumn Edition is headlined by a $109 buy-in $500,000 GTD Main Event and players have multiple opportunities to get in on the cheap as partypoker's famous centroll satellites will be available for the Main Event and Mini Main Event.

Mystery Bounty Tournaments Make XL Retro Series One to Remember
888poker starts rolling back the years this Sunday, as the sites XL Retro Series plays out from October 9-25. With $1.7 million guaranteed across 27 events, 888poker is definitely one of the places to be this season.
Like the Grand Prix KO Autumn series, the XL Retro festival has a $500,000 GTD Main Event which comes with a $250 buy-in. Players can participate in any of the 16 Day 1s to ensure they have a stack for the Main Event's second stage, Main Event heats start on October 20 and run until October 24.
The festival also has a modern twist with the inclusion of two Mystery Bounty Tournaments, with both events taking place on October 16. Those with bigger bankrolls can jump into the $215 Mystery Bounty, which has a $200,000 guarantee while the $33 Mini Mystery Bounty will have at least $20,000 to give away in prize money.
