Starting today, GGPoker will host its Road To World Series of Poker (WSOP) Europe online poker tournaments, an opportunity for players to qualify directly for the 2022 WSOP Europe Main Event. The WSOP Europe €10,350 buy-in Main Event, which boasts a €5 million guarantee, will kick off on Nov. 11 at the luxurious King’s Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

Beginning today, WSOP Europe 2022 satellite tournaments will run on GGPoker with buy-ins to direct satellite tournaments starting from €250, and buy-ins to step satellites starting from €25, according to an announcement from GGPoker.

“WSOP Europe is the continent’s most prestigious live event, and we’re happy to give players the chance to snag their place at the €5M guaranteed Main Event via the Road to WSOP Europe,” John Scanlon, Director of Live Events & Sponsorships at GGPoker, said in a press release. “We expect a big GGPoker squad to make it to King’s Resort for this, and fight it out for the gold and the glory!”

The satellites mean that players will have dozens of opportunities each day to win a seat into the prestigious €10,350 event for as little as €25, giving amateurs and players with light bankrolls the opportunity to chase WSOP glory.

While GGPoker has yet to make its way into the US online poker market, the satellites will be a great opportunity for players in Canada, Europe and Asia.

The WSOP Europe festival will take place Oct. 26-Nov. 16 will feature 15 gold bracelet events and, like many other live events this year, is expected to attract massive fields.

The schedule includes events that are affordable for various bankrolls, with buy-ins ranging from €350 to €50,000. Each tournament features a guaranteed prize pool, and the entire series guarantees at least €12 million will be up for grabs.

Last year, Josef Gulas Jr of the Czech Republic defeated France's Johan Guilbert to win the 2021 WSOP Europe Main Event for €1.3 million. The event attracted a record-setting 688 runners to generate a prize pool of €6.5 million.

New GGPoker players are eligible to claim the poker room’s Welcome Bonus and earn rewards with the Honeymoon for Newcomers promotion. Additionally, new players automatically join GGPoker’s Fish Buffet loyalty program, which offers regular cash prizes.
