Six PokerStars WCOOP Main Events Start September 25

PokerStars WCOOP

It seems like it was only yesterday that the first 2022 WCOOP events took place at PokerStars, yet here were are at the Main Event stage. This year's PokerStars WCOOP does not feature just one or two Main Event, but six in total! Three No-Limit Hold'em Main Events commence at 5:30 p.m. BST, with a trio of Pot-Limit Omaha Main Events starting at 8:05 p.m. BST on September 25.

The three No-Limit Hold'em Main Events are four-day tournaments, such is the incredible blind structure and the projected attendance of each. They come with buy-ins of $109, $1,050, and $10,300, and respective guaranteed prize pools weighing in at an eye-popping $2.5 million, $4 million, and $6 million!

Pot-Limit Omaha specialists have three Main Events of their own. They too come with $109, $1,050, and $10,300 buy-ins, with PokerStars guaranteeing players will win a share of at least $250,000, $600,000, and $1 million; the PLO Main Events run over the course of three days.

TournamentBuy-inGuarantee
#92-L: NLHE Main Event$109$2,500,000
#92-M: NLHE Main Event$1,050$4,000,000
#92-H: NLHE Main Event$10,300$6,000,000
#94-L: PLO Main Event$109$250,000
#94-M: PLO Main Event$1,050$600,000
#94-H: PLO Main Event$10,300$1,000,000

PokerStars is the king when it comes to running satellites to its major tournaments, and nothing has changed on that front. Satellites start at only $5.50, which opens to the door to playing in a WCOOP Main Event for a massive number of players. Imagine turning $5.50 into a six-figure sum.

Only Two WSOP Online Main Event Remain at GGPoker

GGPoker WSOP

It's crunch time in the 2022 WSOP Online Main Event at GGPoker, with only two flights in the $5,000 buy-in $20 million guaranteed (yes you read that correctly) tournament. Some 3,274 players have bought into this huge event so far, meaning another 937 entrants are required across the last pair of Day 1s if GGPoker wants to avoid an overlay.

As things stand, at least three GGPoker players will become millionaires thanks to this tournament. Of course, one lucky player will not only pad their bankroll with a seven-figure sum but also received a coveted gold WSOP bracelet to commemorate their historic victory.

Day 1g gets underway at 7:30 p.m. BST on September 24, with cards going in the air in the final flight, Day 1h, at the same time on September 25. Make it through 15 30-minute levels and you are through to Day 2 at 7:00 p.m. BST on September 26.
