GGPoker-powered WSOP.ca

Online poker players in Ontario can now play at WSOP.ca, a venture between the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker. The WSOP.ca online poker room is fully regulated by iGaming Ontario, and is available for Ontario-based players to enjoy right now.

Ontarian poker players who used to play online at GGPoker must migrate their accounts to WSOP.ca. They can do this by logging into their GGPoker account and follow the on-screen prompts. The process is simple and only takes a few minutes. Once complete, account balances are automatically converted to Canadian dollars, and any T$, C$, and loyalty points carry across, too.

The new WSOP.ca poker room is only accessible by players that are physically located in Ontario. This means players on WSOP.ca can only play against other Ontarians, much like the other Ontario online poker rooms.

WSOP.ca is powered by GGPoker's industry-leading software, meaning players have access to the intuitive Smart HUD, the in-built staking platform, the live poker replicating card squeeze, EV cashouts, and an array of emojis and throwables to express themselves at the tables.

Players can enjoy exciting No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha cash games, the lightning-fast Rush & Cash fast-fold games, Spin & Gold jackpot sit & go tournaments, and a wide range of multi-table tournaments, including daily guarantees, High Rollers, Bounty Hunters, and Omaholic events.

The WSOP Online Circuit Series runs from October 1-16 and features dozens of exciting tournaments with buy-ins from $21 up to $525. GGPoker's Global Ambassador and six-time WSOP bracelet winner, Daniel Negreanu, had this to say about the launch of WSOP.ca.

"Growing up in Toronto, I dreamed of playing in the World Series of Poker. Now, 25 years after I moved to Las Vegas to chase WSOP bracelets, you can compete online in WSOP events in Ontario, all running on GGPoker's amazing platform – how cool is that?

Ty Stewart, the WSOP Executive Director, is thrilled to being the WSOP to Ontario's online poker community.

"Canadian poker players have always been a significant portion of the WSOP playing base. We are thrilled to bring the chance for WSOP glory to you. With online bracelets and exclusive qualifiers to the WSOP in Las Vegas, we expect a wave of new WSOP champions from Ontario."
