The Festival Online at 888poker

When all was said and done, it was "Angelegot" of Sweden who came away with the largest share of the spoils, $14,692 after a heads-up deal with "DarioPourzan" of the United Kingdom.

The final table was streamed on 888poker's popular Twitch channel. Nick Wealthall and David Tuchman were the stream's hosts.

The first elimination was that of Romania's "sankonito" who had earlier lost most of their stack running queens into kings, was down to less than three big blinds. The Romanian crashed out when they open-shoved 2.5 big blinds from under the gun with pocket jacks. The action folded to "RMolinari17" in the small blind, who shoved all-in for far more with pocket eights. That was not the end of the action before "DarioPourzan" woke up in the big blind with pocket kings and called off their last 13.8 big blinds. The board ran out safe for those kings, busting "sankontio" and doubling up "DarioPourzan."

Five of the remaining eight players had stack less than 15 big blinds, so it was unsurprising that there was soon a flurry of bust-outs.

"AssK1cker" was the next player heading for the exits. They open-shoved for 7.7 big blinds from middle position with ace-jack of clubs. One fold later, and "leblond1996" re-shoved with the dominating ace-queen. Everyone else folded, both players turned an ace, but "leblond1996" held the better kicker.

Seventh place went to "Asher12138" who raised 2.5 big blinds under the gun with ace-king, leaving themselves only 5.6 big blinds behind. Those chips went into the middle when "DantonGomes" ripped in their 40 big blind stack with pocket jacks on the button. "DantonGomes" won the pot after flopping a set.

"leblond1996" lost a massive coinflip with pocket tens versus the king-queen of "Entaotoma" to be left with less than six big blinds. They exited when their eight-five could not get there against the ace-queen of "Entaotoma."

Next heading to the cashier's desk was "RMolinari17" who open-shoved for seven big blinds with pocket threes only for "Angelegot" to call with pocket sevens in the big blind. The five community cards ran out void of any drama, and "RMolinari17" was gone.

Two Brazilians crashed out in quick succession. "Entaotoma" check-raised all-in with a diamond flush draw in a hand where "Angelegot" had flopped two pair and they didn't get there. "Entaotoma" lost their last 0.6 big blinds soon after.

"DantonGomes" joined their fellow Brazilian on the rail when "Angelegot" shoved from the small blind with jack-eight and "DantonGomes" called off their 16.3 big blinds with ace-seven, only for a jack to rear its head on the flop and another on the river.

The heads-up players immediately stuck a deal before they battled it out for the title. "Angelegot" soared into the lead and covered "DarioPourzan" ten-to-one when they final hand played out. "Angelegot" moved all-in with jack-five and "DarioPorzan" called off their 6.4 big blind stack with ace-queen. A five on the flop proved enough to bust "DarioPourzan" in second place and award the title to "Angelegot."
