Bernard Lee Poker Show Celebrates 15th Year; Becomes Industry's Longest-Running Podcast
After a decade and a half of providing in-depth interviews with top poker players, The Bernard Lee Poker Show will celebrate its 15th anniversary by doing more of the same: providing interviews with the game's best and most decorated.
To celebrate 15 years, The Bernard Lee Poker Show, which recently became poker's longest-running podcast after the end of the Ante Up Poker Cast, will feature former Main Event champions Scott Blumstein, Greg Merson and Koray Aldemir as guests. Merson is celebrating his ten-year anniversary of winning the 2012 Main Event, while Blumstein and Aldemir are respectively celebrating their five and one-year anniversaries.
“I am truly honored that my show has been on air for 15 straight years," Lee said in a recent press release. "I wanted to thank all of my diehard listeners and fans for supporting The Bernard Lee Poker Show for so many years. I promise to continue bringing top notch interviews with the most intriguing and relevant poker guests for years to come on my podcast, radio show and YouTube channel."
Continuing to Give to the Community
Lee, the host of The Bernard Lee Poker Show, has a lengthy history of using his poker platform to help give back to the community, including spending more than a decade helping homeless families in the Boston area during the holidays.
Last December, PokerNews covered Lee's Full House Charity Program, which partnered with Family Aid to bring aid to 38 local families experiencing homelessness during the Christmas season. In other endeavors, the Full House Charity Program has provided over $100,000 in goods and funds to children-focused organizations in New England.
“The Full House Charity Program has truly become a family tradition for the Lee household, especially my kids, who have become an integral part of the process,” Lee said in December 2019, when he helped an additional three-dozen families. “This annual event has brought so much joy into our family’s lives as we love seeing the happiness when the families, especially the children open their holiday gifts.”
His gift to the poker community, meanwhile, is providing hours of in-depth interviews with poker's biggest stars — Phil Hellmuth, Darren Elias, Linda Johnson, Josh Arieh and David Peters, to name a few.

Becoming Poker's Longest-Running Podcast
The Bernard Lee Poker Show entering its 15th year makes it the longest-running poker podcast, a distinction previously held by the Ante Up Poker Cast, which was hosted by Scott Long and Chris Cosenza and had its first episode launch in June 2005. Earlier this year, PokerNews reported that poker's longest-running podcast had reached an end after 870 episodes.
Lee paid respect to his fellow poker podcast veterans, who started the Ante Up Poker Cast in the midst of the "Poker Boom" and since became recognizable names in the industry.
“All my best to Ante Up’s Scott Long & Chris Cosenza – they had a great show," Lee reacted on social media. "I enjoyed speaking with them on numerous occasions. Thank you both for everything you have contributed to the world of poker!"
Entering its 15th year, The Bernard Lee Poker Show will continue to air on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. EST on the Money Matters Radio Network in the Boston area, while the show is also available on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, CardplayerLifestyle and here on PokerNews.
The 15th anniversary of The Bernard Lee Poker Show will be sponsored by D&B Poker and RunGoodGear and will feature giveaways, including D&B Poker books and RunGoodGear apparel.
