888poker Retro Week

888poker has been exciting and serving customers for two decades and is celebrating 20 years of being in business by running the Retro Week festival, a series of tournaments with combined guaranteed prizes pools of more than $888,000!

There have been some incredible multi-table tournaments on 888poker over the years, and many of them return for one last swansong during Retro Week. The festival runs from March 20 through March 27, features 26 of 888poker’s most popular retro tournaments, and will pay out at least $888,000.

Retro Week kicks off with the $25,000 guaranteed Big Fish at 4:00 p.m. GMT on March 20. The Big Fish tournaments were extremely popular in their heyday so expect a bumper crowd in this $33 edition.

The $100,000 Sunday Challenge was the flagship weekly event at 888poker for a long time, so players will be delighted to learn it returns during Retro Week’s opening night.

Other retro tournaments to look forward to include the $525 buy-in $50,000 guaranteed Whale, the $10,000 Monday Twins, the $12,000 Swordfish 6-Max, and the $15,000 Tornado.

However, it is the Main Event that has tournament grinders tingling with anticipation. Taking place at 6:00 p.m. GMT on March 27, the Retro Week Main Event is a bumper edition of the Sunday Challenge. It commands a $215 buy-in, unless you win your way in via one of the cut-price satellites, and comes with a juicy prize pool containing not a cent less than $300,000.
