When the world’s best players hit form they tend to reel in more than their fair share of prizes. 888poker ambassador Dominik Nitsche is testament to that. The ultra-talented four-time WSOP bracelet-winning German enjoyed a super Sunday on February 13, helping himself to a brace of victories and navigating his way to several final tables.

Nitsche’s fantastic run started at his sponsor’s site, 888poker. He was one of 32 entrants in the $2,100 buy-in The Big Shot High Roller. The compact field meant only the top four finishers won a slice of the $64,000 prize pool, with Nitsche walking away with $28,800 for his outright victory.

While Nitsche was making his way to the winner’s podium in that tournament, he was busy reaching more 888poker final tables. He finished fifth from 57 entrants in the $1,050 $50,000 Big Shot for $4,389. Here, Nitsche outlasted Lithuania’s "NL_sport" who he defeated heads-up in the $2,100 high roller event.

The likes of Maksim "MAMOHT_T" Viktorovich and champion Gytis "peledazmogis" Lazauninkas outlasted Nitsche this time around.

Nitsche defeated Brazil’s Bruno "great dant" Volkmann heads-up as he marched onto victory.
