Jeremy Ausmus Continues High Roller Mastery, Wins PokerGO Cup Event #4

One day after coming up one spot short of winning a PokerGO Cup title, Jeremy Ausmus took down Event #4: $15,000 No-Limit Hold'em on Sunday for $263,250.

He defeated a field of 65 entrants inside the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas for his second major tournament victory over the past few months. In November, Ausmus played spoiler to Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth when he outlasted the two poker legends for in a $50,000 pot-limit Omaha event for his third World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet.

Ausmus Continues to Crush

Cary Katz, PokerGO's founder, bagged the largest stack on Saturday and returned the following day with a slight chip lead over Justin Saliba. Ausmus and Jesse Lonis were neck and neck for the smallest stacks among the final six players.

As the final session progressed, Ausmus and Brock Wilson took over the table and ended up heads-up for the title. Ausmus would win that match and take down his first PokerGO Cup tournament. After finishing second to Jake Daniels in Event #3: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em on Saturday, he now has 407 points for the series, which leads the way with four events remaining.

Along with his PokerGO Cup victory, Ausmus cracked the $11 million lifetime mark in live tournaments according to the Hendon Mob database.

Sunday was also the start of Event #5: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em. When registration closed, 41 players had paid to enter. The final table will air on PokerGO beginning at 1 p.m. PT Monday afternoon. Bill Klein bagged the Day 1 chip lead with $369,000 up top.
