Haxton Dominates and Claims His Second Super MILLION$ Title
Isaac Haxton is the latest superstar to become a two-time Super MILLION$ champion after he overcame eight elite level finalists in the latest edition of GGPoker’s exciting weekly tournament.
Haxton won his first title in July 2020 and walked away with $393,262. Victory number two came on January 18 and saw Haxton pad his bankroll with an impressive $448,842.

The final table lost a player on the very first hand, which was expected because Brazil’s "bill2021" sat down with a meager 4.9 big blinds. Andreas Nasman raised to 138,000 from middle position, Nikita "VSMPZD" Kuznetsov three-bet to 390,000 from the next seat along, only for bill2021 to call off the 286,126 chips he had from the big blind. Nasman tank-folded leaving Kuznetsov’s ace-ten to prevail against the all-in player’s king-jack.
Kuznetsov was the next player out of the door despite winning that early pot. The Russian grinder came unstuck in a hand with Haxton. Pablo Silva min-raised to 120,000 from under the gun with ace-try, Haxton called with pocket kings in the cutoff, resulting in Kuztensov making a play with ace-queen suited for the 1,245,366 chips he held. Silva ducked out of the way, but Haxton instantly called. A jack-high board sent Kuznetsov to the rail.
Seventh-place and the last five-figure score, $94,357, went to former Super MILLION$ champion Wiktor Malinowski. The Macau-based high-stakes cash game specialist fell during the 35,000/70,000/8,500a level. Malinowski raised to 560,000, leaving himself only 92,840 chips behind. Mikita Badziakouski set him all-in for those last few chips, and Malinowski called. Badziakouski held ace-queen against the dominated ace-jack of Malinowski. A queen on the turn left Malinowski drawing dead.
Konstantin Maslak was eliminated in sixth place for $122,366 despite "joyeux" sitting with an eight big blind stack. Maslak opted to raise to 480,000 with ace-try on the button before calling off the 637,117 chips he had behind when Haxton three-bet to 1,540,000. Haxton flipped over the dominating ace-jack, which held when Haxton flopped a jack.
joyeux crashed out shortly after Maslak when Nasman raise to 176,000 with king-queen, Badziakowski called in the small blind with ace-four of spades, and joyeux squeezed all-in for 1,098,832 with pocket deuces. Only Nasman called, and he won courtesy of a king on the turn.

Start of the day chip leader Badziakouski ran out of steam in fourth place after a clash with his former partypoker teammate did not go to plan. Blinds were 70,000/140,000/17,500a, and Badziakouski raised to 294,000 on the button with ace-king. Haxton three-bet all-in for 7,458,862 with the inferior king-ten of diamonds, and his Belarusian opponent called off his 3,205,706 stack. Haxton can count himself lucky because he flopped a ten to eliminate a dangerous opponent and take his stack past 11.1 million chips.
Haxton progressed to heads-up after former champion Nasman fell by the wayside in third, a finish good for $266,883. Haxton limped for 200,000 from the small blind with nine-seven of spades, and called when Nasman made it 600,000 to go with pocket kings in the big blind. The eight-try-five flop missed Haxton, but he still check-raised a 418,750 continuation bet to 937,500, which Nasman called. The turn as the deuce of spades, putting two spades on the board. Haxton moved all-in into the 3,150,000 pot, and Nasman called off the 3,540,430 chips he had in his stack. Nasman looked set for a double-up, but it never happened because the flush-completing eight of spade won the pot for Haxton.
Silva trailed Haxton by more than three-to-one going into the one-on-one battle, but the Brazilian put up a brave fight. The final hand took place during the 175,000/350,000/15,000a level, and saw Haxton move all-in with pocket treys, and Silva call off his nine big blinds with ace-queen. Haxton’s hand held, and he became a two-time Super MILLION$ champion, resigning Silva to a $346,104 runner-up prize.
