PokerNews to Live Report This Weekend's Wynn Fall Classic Championship

The Wynn Fall Classic will host its biggest event of the series beginning Friday — the $3 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Championship. PokerNews will be on hand live reporting the $3,500 buy-in tournament from start until finish (November 2).
The series, which takes place on the Las Vegas Strip, runs alongside the 2021 World Series of Poker. Thus far, turnout has been solid at the Wynn, one of the city's most luxurious resort casinos. Unlike at the WSOP, players aren't required to be vaccinated to compete but must wear face masks.
Championship Event Details
Day 1a of the NLH Championship kicks off at noon PT at the Wynn tomorrow, with Day 1b scheduled for Saturday and Day 1c on Sunday. One day later, Day 2 will begin at noon, with the final session set for November 2 at the same time.
Players will start with 40,000 chips, and the blind levels increase every 40 minutes on Day 1 and 60 minutes thereafter. Unlimited re-entry is available during each starting flight. Those who bag chips on Day 1 are permitted to enter a future starting flight and will advance to Day 2 with the largest stack they bag. Any remaining chips will be removed from play.
Day 1a will play 15 levels or until 11% of the field remains. Additional Day 1 flights will play to the exact point in which 1a concluded. You can view the full structure here.
Wynn promises at least $3 million will be in the pot when registration closes at the start of Level 10. PokerNews will be in attendance live reporting the tournament from start to finish.
Wynn Fall Classic to Date
The Wynn Fall Classic began September 30 with a $400 buy-in no-limit hold'em tournament guaranteeing $40,000 in prize money. Mike Youngman beat out 193 entries to win $16,476.
On October 5, the first big event of the series began — $1,600 No-Limit Hold'em with $1 million guaranteed. The guarantee was completely obliterated as a whopping 1,790 entries competed, creating a $2,595,500 prize pool. Federico Castaine from Argentina shipped the Wynn-shaped trophy for $361,180.
Perhaps, the most exciting event of the series took place from 10/11-10/14. The $2,200 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold'em promised a $2 million pot, but like every other event, the guarantee was smashed as 2,333 entrants created a prize pool of $3,032,900. Pete Chen of Taiwan took it down for $289,193, while Donald Nimneh, an Omaha truck driver, found the $250,000 Mystery Bounty jackpot envelope.
