Maxx Coleman's mixed-game prowess finally paid off in a PokerGO Tour win on Monday night. After multiple final table appearances in high-stakes events at PokerGO Studio, Coleman took down his first PokerGO Tour win in Poker Masters Event #6: $10,000 8-Game, earning a $120,000 prize.

Coleman emerged through a field of 30 entries, outdueling Chad Eveslage (2nd - $78,000) in heads-up play for the victory. Stephen Chidwick (3rd - $48,000), Erik Sagstrom (4th - $33,000), and Jeremy Ausmus (5th - $21,000) rounded out the names making the money in the $10,000 8-Game event.

Coleman finished the tournament win by taking the last of Eveslage’s chips with Razz as the variant on the board.

Coleman Breaks Through for First PokerGO Tour Win

Coleman’s all-around poker ability proved valuable in the only mixed-game event on the schedule at the 2021 Poker Masters. Event #6 gave Coleman his first career PokerGO Tour win, which came in Coleman’s fourth PokerGO Tour final table appearance this year.

In June, Coleman made it to three final tables at the 2021 U.S. Poker Open. The American pro came away with a second, fourth, and fifth-place finish in those three events.

The elusive PokerGO Tour victory finally happened Monday night. Coleman began Day 2 as the tournament chip leader, and ended the day in the Poker Masters Event #6 winner’s photo.

The $120,000 win brings Coleman’s career earnings to more than $2 million according to the Hendon Mob. Coleman’s top ten cash finishes include five events outside of the No-Limit Hold’em category.

The deep runs in Event #6 for Ausmus and Eveslage keeps both players in the top ten on the 2021 Poker Masters leaderboard.
