2021 WSOP Dates

The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) starts on Thursday, September 30 and runs through until Tuesday, November 23. This is a move from the traditional summer slot from May until July that the WSOP has had since the mid-2000s.

"Let the prop bets begin on whether this will be the biggest WSOP of all time," WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart told PokerNews.

"One thing is for certain, this fall will be a full-fledged version of the summers we all remember.”

2021 WSOP Schedule

The schedule for the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has not been released yet. In 2020, the WSOP released a 101-event schedule that included 87 live events and 14 online on WSOP.com.

The WSOP announced the schedule in stages, with Key Weekend & Signature events and $10,000 Championship Events announced in late December 2019.

In January 2020, 24 tournaments in the 'Value Menu' and six in the 'Freezeout Series' were unveiled. There has been no confirmation that these tournaments will form part of the 2021 WSOP schedule.

There were further announcements about a $1,500 Buy-in Event Leaderboard and nine High Roller events.
