Two of the biggest and most prestigious of the series, which will award millions in prize money between them, are slated to take place next week, and PokerNews will be on hand to live report both.

Last year in a similar pair of events in November (albeit with smaller guarantees), Landon Tice topped an 1,123-entry field to win the $1,100 buy-in, $200K GTD Main Event for $201,529. In the $1,600 MSPT Venetian Main Event, Korey Payne bested a 1,239-entry field to win $327,773.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Venetian stops actually mark the third time the tour has visited the venue this year. Back in February, the MSPT hosted the annual $1,100 buy-in, $1 million GTD Poker Bowl, a tournament that attracted 908 runners and saw Johnny Oshana take it down for $130,000. In January, they also hosted a $1,100 Main Event that drew 1,009 entries with poker pro James Carroll winning it for $180,850.
