WPT Online Series Main Event

The eagerly anticipated WPT Online Series Main Event shuffles up and deals on May 23 only at partypoker.

A cool $3 million is guaranteed in the $3,200 buy-in Main Event, making it the richest event on the WPT Online Series schedule. Day 1A commences promptly at 7:05 p.m. BST on May 23 and sees each entrant sit down with 200,000 chips. Blinds start at only 500/1,000/125a and increase every 25 minutes.

You can do your best Phil Hellmuth impression and turn up for the Main Event fashionably late, but do not wait too long because late registration slams shut after the conclusion of the ninth level. Should your first bullet not reach its intended target, one re-entry is permitted before late registration closes.

Each of the two starting flights ends when only 15% of the field remains. The surviving player progress to Day 2, on May 31, safe in the knowledge that they have cashed in this prestigious tournament.

WPT Online Series Main Event Schedule

Day 1A runs on May 23 with the second and final flight scheduled for 7:05 p.m. BST a week later on May 30.

Those players skillful and fortunate enough to make it through to Day 2 face-off over ten 30-minute levels on Day 2, with the Day 2 survivors locking horns on Day 3 until only nine hopefuls remain. They sit down under the watchful eye of the partypoker Twitch team on June 2 to conclude the WPT Online Series Main Event.

partypoker and the WPT ran a similar tournament last year and it was nothing short of huge. Some 2,130 players bought in and were all outlasted by Swedish superstar Christian Jeppsson. The Swede walked away with the title of champion and a cool $923,786 after a heads-up deal with Russia’s Viktor Ustimov ($865,542).

WPT Online Series Main Event Satellites

There are plenty of satellites feeding into Day 1A of the $3 million guaranteed Main Event, not least the massive Mega Satellite at 4:05 p.m. BST on May 23.

This value-packed Mega Satellite costs $320 to buy into, but will send at least 50, yes 50, partypoker players to Day 1A of the Main Event. Do not worry of the $320 buy-in is too rich for you because the Mega Satellite is phased, meaning you can win your way into the final from a mere $0.01!
