2021 WSOP Online Dates Announced; 66 Bracelets to be Won Across WSOP.com & GGPoker

The schedule for the WSOP Super Circuit Online Series was announced yesterday, but news ahead of the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) doesn't stop there with GGPoker confirming more details about the world's most famous poker festival.
In total, 66 bracelets will be up for grabs across both festivals, with 33 bracelets available on WSOP.com and 33 on GGPoker.

2021 WSOP.com Online Key Details
Bracelet events on WSOP.com will run from July 1 to August 1, with 33 bracelets up for grabs for those residing in Nevada and New Jersey. Nahrain “2Rivers” Tamero won the 2020 WSOP Online Event #31: $1,000 NLH Championship, defeating Normal "abnormality" Michaelek heads-up to win $310,832. She defeated a 2,126 entry field to grab her online bracelet.
Although details of WSOP Online tournament buy-ins and guarantees are yet to be released, WSOP Director Gregory Chochon says that they're aiming to offer a "robust" online schedule.
"One of our goals is to provide as many people the chance to become champions as possible."
"The bar has been set with last year’s record-breaking series, but we’re hoping to raise it even higher this year," said Chochon. "One of our goals is to provide as many people the chance to become champions as possible. However, we know not everyone can or is comfortable traveling yet, so continuing a robust online bracelet offering in 2021 is a must."

WSOP Online 2021 at GGPoker
GGPoker is also anticipating another exciting schedule, with GGPoker Head of Poker Operations Steve Preiss aiming to offer "even more" to customers over the course of the WSOP Online.
"When GGPoker & WSOP partnered in 2020, we broke world records," Preiss said. "Our plans for 2021 are to offer even more to our customers. With massive tournaments, WSOP gold bracelets & rings, and a route into the live WSOP Main Event in November, we hope players will love what we have in store for them."
Last year it was Stoyan Madanzhiev who triumphed in the GGPoker WSOP Online Main Event, winning $3.9 million in a world record-breaking tournament. The Main Event set the world record for the largest prize pool in online poker tournament history, at an eye-watering $27,559,500.

With the WSOP expected to return to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino this fall, GGPoker is already preparing its satellite offering for the $10,300 WSOP Main Event scheduled to take place on November 4.
