The Weekend Preview

There are some incredible multi-table tournaments running this weekend. The Irish Open kicks off at partypoker for a start, but what about at some of the other online poker sites? They have some awesome events scheduled, too.

Here are three online poker tournaments you simply have to play this weekend, which will you win?

$1 Million Guaranteed Omaholic Main Event

GGPoker’s Omaholic Series is entering its final stages and what better way to round it off than by playing in its Main Event.

The Omaholic Main Event still has several Day 1 flights waiting for you to enter, each costing $400. Everyone in each Day 1 sits down with 40,000 chips and plays to a 12-minute clock where the blinds start at only 100/200/30a. The tournament uses GGPoker’s new format where the action in pot-limit preflop, but no-limit from the flop onwards. If you thought standard PLO was crazy, you have seen nothing yet!

GGPoker has slapped a $1 million guarantee on this event’s prize pool, which is practically unheard of in Pot-Limit Omaha circles. $400 may be outside the limits of your bankroll. Do not worry if it is because satellites from a mere $4 are available right now. Imagine turning $4 into a shot at a $1 million prize pool.

Win Your Way Into The PokerStars Sunday Million From $1.10

There is a lot of talk about the PokerStars Sunday Million thanks to Vanessa Kade taking down the $12.5 million guaranteed anniversary edition earlier this week. This week’s Sunday Million returns back to its standard $1 million guaranteed edition, but it is still definitely worth winnings.

Satellites galore are available for the $109 Sunday Million, satellites that will only set you back $1.10 if you buy into the cheapest. Our favorite Sunday Million satellite, however, costs a still affordable $11. It starts at 4:05 p.m. GMT on Mar. 28 and has a 150-seat guarantee on it, which could be your best route into the Sunday Million.

Have You Checked Out The 888poker MTT Schedule Recently?

888poker made some sweeping changes to its MTT schedule and we are big fans of them here at PokerNews. The $150,000 Big Shot 109 Main Event is one of our favorite additions to the Sunday schedule; its name gives clues into the buy-in and guarantee.

$109 is this tournament’s buy-in and $150,000 is the least amount of money you will be playing for. For some reason, this tournament has overlaid since its launch despite its brilliant structure and wallet-filling payouts.

Your $109 buy-in translates to 15,000 chips, which you use to battle your way through approximately 1,500 opponents. The blinds start at 30/60/7a and increase every 12-minutes. Up to three re-entries are permitted during the late registration period (205 minutes after the 7:00 p.m. GMT start time) should you some how dust off your stack.
