The Weekend Preview

There are only a handful of Sundays left in 2020 and that means time is running out for you to secure a big win and boost your annual profits. Thankfully, there are some awesome tournaments taking place this weekend, three of which feature in this very article.

Battle of Malta #6: High Roller Championship

The sixth event of the Battle of Malta online series takes place at GGPoker on November 8 and it’s a big one. It is the High Roller Championship, a $5,250 buy-in affair with a whopping $2 million guaranteed prize pool.

Some of the world’s best players have already bought in, including Rainer Kempe, Ryan Riess, Stefan Schillhabel, Chris Moorman, and Scott Margereson. Plenty more are expected to join in the run-up to the tournament starting at 7:00 p.m. CET on November 8.

$5,250 is a lot to spend on a single tournament, even one as prestigious as this but there are satellites running around the clock. All those satellites feed into the $525 Sat to BoM #6: High Roller Championship, giving everyone the chance of experiencing glory in a huge event.

Huge Value Awaits in the partypoker Monster Series

At the complete opposite end of the buy-in scale from the Battle of Malta event are the Monster Series tournaments running at partypoker. These limited late registration, one re-entry tournaments have buy-ins from $0.55 to $265 and are superbly structured.

Two of the weekend’s Monster Series tournaments stand out from the crowd.

November 7 at 8:05 p.m. CET sees the first of two flights in the Monster #13 – 8-Max Knockout and Mini 8-Max Knockout. The larger of the two events has a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool for only a $33 buy-in. Even the Mini event is enticing with its $3.30 buy-in and ambitious $20,000 guarantee.

Should you not be able to make it to the tables on November 7 or perhaps you fail to make it through to Day 2, there’s a Day 1B at the same time on November 8.

Both events should be huge value because similar tournaments earlier in the series overlaid. For example, the $33 buy-in $150,000 guaranteed 8-Max that kicked off Monster Series fell short by $39,450, or some 1,315 entrants!

$3.30 satellites are available for the $200,000 guaranteed event while $0.33 satellites are running for the $20,000 guaranteed tournament.
