Value Town GGPoker Mini WSOP Main Event

Look no further than the 63rd bracelet-awarding event of the summer if you’re looking to take a trip to Value Town. This tournament takes place online at GGPoker and see you play for a share of a guaranteed $5 million for only a $500 buy-in, less if you manage to win your way into it via one of the many satellites.

Everything points to the WSOP Mini Main Event being massive. There are few, if any, online tournaments that can match the huge $5 million guarantee for such a relatively small buy-in. GGPoker needs 10,527 entries to hit that ambitious total (the buy-in is $475+$25) and hopes this happens by the time the 15 starting flights are completed.

At time of writing, 4,247 players have bought in across the first five flights and only 477 of those have managed to make it through to the final day.

Each of the 15 Day 1s sees players sit down with 50,000-chips and play to a 20-minute clock where the blinds start at 150/300 and a running ante of 40-chips. Play continues for 18-levels and anyone with chips in front of them at the conclusion of the 18th progresses to the final day on August 16.

You can turn up fashionably late in all the starting flights because late registration is open until the end of the 12th level. This is also the last time you can make your one and only re-entry, should you dust your stack off.

Please be aware that the final two flights on the afternoon of August 16 both play out with 12-minute blinds. This is because the final day kicks off at 8:30 p.m. on the same day.

Players are allowed to compete in as many Day 1s as they wish, but only their largest stack is taken through to the final, all other stacks are forfeited. Make it through to Day 2 but aren’t happy with your stack? Buy into the next available Day 1 and try again.

The Final Day shuffles up and deals at 8:30 p.m. CET on August 16 and continues until the WSOP Mini Main Event crowns its champion. The eventual champion not only wins what should be a gigantic top prize, but they also secure a coveted WSOP gold bracelet and a package to the yet-to-be-announced WSOP Europe worth an additional $15,000.

WSOP Mini Main Event Satellites

There are so many WSOP Mini Main satellites to choose from that we could fill your screen with a table listing them all. We won’t do that, what we’ll do instead is tell you there are several dozen $50 satellites feeding into this gigantic event.

You don’t even have to fork out $50 to play in these because feeders and steps starting at a mere $1 give everyone the chance to win there way into a shot at a $5 million guaranteed prize pool.
