Value hunters need to look no further than partypoker this weekend because the WPT World Online Championships Micro and Mini Main Events get underway.

A cool $6 million is guaranteed across this brace of Main Events, which feature one of the best structures we’ve seen in an online poker tournament.

First up is the WPT #07 Micro Main Event Championship: $1M Gtd. It features only two starting flights with Day 1A commencing at 8:00 p.m. CEST on August 29 and Day 1B starting at the same time on August 30.

The buy-in weighs in at $109 and for that players receive a generous helping of 200,000-chips and play to a 20-minute clock where the blinds start at 500/1,000/125a.

Play on each Day 1 lasts for 18-levels. Anyone with chips in front of them at this time progresses to Day 2 on August 31. One re-entry is permitted while late registration is open, which is until the end of the ninth level, and players are permitted to play in both flights, but only their largest stack is taken forward to Day 2 if they progress from Dy 1A and Day 1B.

Make it through to Day 2 and you’ll need to be ready to rock and roll at 8:00 p.m. CEST on August 31. Twenty levels are scheduled on Day 2 with the surviving players sitting back down at 8:00 p.m. CEST on September 1 to complete the tournament and crown the champion.

August 30, while Day 1B of the Micro Main Event is in full swing, sees Day 1A of the Mini Main Event take place. The only mini thing about this tournament is its name because it costs $1,050 to enter and boasts of a $5 million guaranteed prize pool.

The starting stack for this event is 200,000 but the blinds increase every 25-minutes. Both Day 1s end upon the completion of the 18th level and, like the Micro Main Event, late registration is open for nine levels.

Day 2 of the Mini Main Event lasts for 16 levels before Day 3 plays out until only one player has all the chips in play. 8:00 p.m. CEST is the start time for all Mini Main Events days.
