Sunday Sale Returns to 888poker

888poker is running its Sunday Sale promotion again on July 12 and that gives you the chance to play in some of the site’s biggest events for half their usual buy-in.

The $100,000 Sunday Sale Mega Deep is the first of the three 888poker events to receive the Sunday Sale treatment. Buy into this weekend’s tournament at 6:30 p.m. CET for only $55 instead of the usual $109. You’ll be playing for a share of a guaranteed $100,000 so make sure you bring your A-game with you.

Next up is the $15,000 Sunday Sale Monsoon at 7:30 p.m. CET, which commands a $27.50 buy-in instead of the traditional $55. The Monsoon is one of 888poker’s most-popular tournaments so expect a bumper field.

Last, but certainly not least, is the $20,000 Sunday Sale Whale which shuffles up and deals at 8:00 p.m.. The Sunday Whale usually carries a $320 buy-in but you can play in this weekend’s event for only $160, less if you win your way in from one of the many satellites that start at a mere $0.01.

A Trio of Stadium Series Finals at PokerStars

The first three weekly finals of the $50 million Stadium Series kick off on July 12 at PokerStars and they are steeped in value.

These three tournaments get underway at the same time of 7:05 p.m. CET and come with buy-ins of $5.50, $55, and $530. For those sums you get the opportunity to win a share of a guaranteed $150,000, $500,000, and $1 million! You can even play these on your mobile, just like PokerStars' Home Game.

It’s not only the potentially huge prizes you’re battling for because everyone who reaches the final table of these Weekly Finals also receives a ticket for the series-ending Grand Finals and they’re going to be ridiculously large.

Grand Finals are also available in three tiers: $55, $530, and $5,200 and they come with prize pools of at least $1 million, $2 million, and a staggering $5 million!

$500,000 Guaranteed in the partypoker Main

There’s a new tournament to get excited about over at partypoker, the $109 buy-in Main with its $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Main is a multi-day tournament that has several Day 1s, each costing $109 to enter. You’re permitted to make only one re-entry in these Day 1s. Play in Day 1s ends at the conclusion of the 19th level. Make it to this point and you progress to the Monday final with the stack you have in front of you.

Fall before the 19th level or unhappy with your stack? Don’t worry because you can fire another bullet in another Day 1.

Last week’s partypoker Main saw 4,560 players buy in across the starting flights. Some 518 of those made it through to the final day, resulting in an overlay of $44,000. Only 472 of those returning players won a slice of the $500,000 and the tournament ended in a three-way chop that distributed $166,220.

The UK’s Alastair Smith finished in first and won $69,177. Krzysztof Dulowski and Daniel Yerin were the other two deal makers, they banked $48,646 and $48,455 respectively.
