$1.5 Million Worth of Seatd GTD for the 8-Max Championship Alone

A staggering $1.5 million worth of seats are guaranteed for next weekend’s WPT 8-Max Championship. The Mega Sats for this epic event hit the partypoker lobby from July 26 and stay there until August 2.

Mega Sats come with buy-ins in a three-tiered system, much like the actual Championship events. Buy-ins are $3.30, $33, and $320, and they award tickets worth $33, $320, and $3,200 respectively.

Look out for the value-packed Mega Sats for the $5 million guaranteed Mini Main Event. This huge tournament costs $1,050 to enter, but it’s possible to win your seat at the table for only $22. imagine turning $22 into a shot at a prize pool weighing in at $5 million!

You’re in for a real treat once you’ve managed to win your way into these Championship Events via the Mega Sats. partypoker and WPT have gone all out to recreate an authentic live poker experience.

Each Championship Event has a maximum of two starting flights, there is only one re-entry per flight permitted, and the time late registration is open for has been slashed. Furthermore, real names are displayed at the tables in all the WPT events, and the blind structure is something to behold.

We’re big fans of the $33 and $320 buy-in Championship Events having the same blind structure as the $3,200 affairs. This gives players the chance to experience a first-class tournament that’s designed to allow the cream to rise to the top.
