The race to become the GGMasters Player of the Year and win the $500,000 GG sponsorship package is seriously heating up with only 300 points separating the top 10 positions!

Brazil’s Ricardo “M@cacoCidadao” Nascimento is still the man to catch at the top of the leaderboard with 1,698.28. Nascimento has led the charge for the leaderboard’s top prize for several weeks, but his reign at the top is seriously under threat.

Singapore’s “Interlace” now has 1,609.90 points and is within touching distance of the Brazilian leader. Interlace won the GGMasters on May 17, topping a field of 4,238-entries to bank $53,324 after a five-handed deal.

The latest GGMasters winner is “gokchinees!” of China. The also struck a deal, but a heads-up one, that saw them walk away with $72,417 after outlasting 4,261-opponents. That victory saw gokchinees! Soar straight into third-place. They’re now only a couple of cashes away from climbing to the summit of the GGMasters Leaderboard.

The prizes on offer for finishing in the top 10 of the Player of the Year race are outstanding. Those finishing second through 10th secure free tickets to every GGMasters tournament throughout 2021. That’s 52x $150 tickets, at the current price, or $7,800.

The winner, however, locks up a special package that sees them become an ambassador of GG worth up to $500,000!

It’s never too late (OK, the final week may be too late!) to try and win this epic leaderboard. The GGMasters seems to continually grow each week and that means increasingly more points become available.

You earn points whenever you reach the money places of the GGMasters using the following formula: f * sqrt(Prize pool / k)

The “f” value changes depending on where you finish in the tournament. Its value is 1.0 for reaching the money, 1.5 for navigating your way to the final table, and 2.0 for becoming the tournament’s champion.

Its value is 0.5 for bursting the money bubble. The bubble usually “pays” five or six spots depending on the number of entrants.

Win Your Way In Or Sell Some Action

GGPoker has dozens of GGMasters satellites running every day from only $1.50, giving more players the chance of playing in this $500,000 tournament each Sunday.

You also have the option to sell some of your action for free with the in-built staking software. Sell action, complete with mark-up if you wish, and the software automatically processes everything if and when you reach the money places.
