The sixth ring in the 2020 GGPoker WSOP Online Super Circuit has found its way onto a finger, and like "BlaireauEnColere" in Event #5 earlier this week, the champ once again hailed from Brazil.

After more than 13 hours of play, "JoaoValli" plowed his way through 3,615 runners in Event #6: Deepstack Bounty Hunters $500K Gtd to take down the top prize of $51,879, as well as $32,827 in bounties. While the guarantee for this event was set at $500,000, by the time registration closed, GGPoker smashed it again with $723,000 in the prize pool.

Action of the Day

Action got underway on Event #6 at 2 p.m. Eastern time, and bounties were gobbled up right from the start. The 500K guarantee was broken during the third hour of play, and by the time the gates closed, there were 3,615 entries that built a prize pool worth $723,000.

Once registration closed, the numbers dropped quickly. It took less than an hour to get hand for hand, and just a couple of hands to burst the bubble. The rapid pace kept up after, and it was just before 1 a.m. Eastern time when the final table convened, with "Sissyohus" and "Vamooooooooos" quickly exiting the stage.

"IAMWILLIAM" was next to go with pocket sevens, running smack dab into the pocket queens of "mrbradleyy". Six handed play went on for almost an hour, with short stacks doubling every chance they had. "mrbradleyy" started six-handed play with the second biggest stack but got involved in a massive clash against "JoaoValli" with ace-nine versus queens. "mrbradleyy" ended up decimated, and busted 6th for $8,830 (plus $9,998) shortly after.

That's when "JoaoValli" went on a rampage, knocking out every one of his opponents over the course of the next 30-odd hands, in most cases coming from behind to do it. Along the way, the Brazilian racked up a massive $32,827 in bounties to add to the $51,879 grand prize and the coveted WSOPC Ring.
