Poker Legend Fedor Holz

Holz has previously spoken at length about his upbringing and background, and how his experiences from his childhood lead to a career in poker and as an entrepreneur.

After studying mathematics, he felt a pressure within his family to "get a job" and to live his life in a solid way. However, poker had something to say about that.

Like many, Holz got into poker during university whilst playing home games with his friends. It was this new challenge that saw him look to build a network of people around him who share the similar interests and passions, and thus began his poker career.

Holz made his first million playing poker in 2015 and increased his live earnings to over $20 million through 2016. To date, Holz has over $32 million in live-tournament earnings, with his largest score being a second-place finish in the 2018 $1,000,000 The Big One for One Drop for $6,000,000.
