The XL Inferno Main Event is set to be massive, if last year’s tournament is anything to go by. A field of 2,136 players created a $501,960 prize pool that the top 207 finishers shared.
It ended in a three-handed deal that saw the final trio walk away with a share of $191,297. Brazil’s “lucasfalves9” busted in third, but not before locking up $55,543. Another Brazilian, “LuisRRRRR”, fell at the final hurdle and banked $65,502. This left Russia’s “Den1sk4PP” as the last player standing, an accolade that came with a cool $70,252 prize.
