On Friday, WSOP.com hosted the seventh event in their 18-ring event online series – WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series – which is open to those inside the borders of Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware.

This 18-ring event series features an enticing 1,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools. As of the sixth event, WSOP.com has blown away their guarantees and awarded $1,250,350 with 11 more events to come.

The seventh tournament on the schedule — Event #7: $30,000 GTD PLO 6-Max 2x Re-entry — featured a $215 buy-in and tripled the guarantee. With a final count of 261 registered players and 193 rebuys, the 454-entry tournament offered a total prize pool of $90,800 that was paid out amongst the top 40 players with a min-cash starting at $499.

When everything was finished, Thomas "mag8500" Maguire was the last with chips. Maguire took home his second WSOP.com Online Circuit ring after winning his first just six months ago. Maguire was awarded the $23,608 first-place prize along with his second WSOP Circuit ring.

Others to cash the tournament included Michael "HANKDATANK" St. John (40th place - $499), Garry "goknightsgo" Gates (25th place - $681), Jonathan "Art.Vandelay" Dokler (22nd place - $681), Jonathan "jetsfan14" Borenstein (21st place - $681), and Patrick "PatFromEH" Dimartino (11th place - $1,180).

WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series Current Points Standings

The WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series kicked off last Saturday and will run through March 31. By the end, more than $1,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools will have been awarded.

In addition, the 18 events do count for the Global Casino Championship leaderboard points standings, with the Main Event champion and Casino Champion from these events earning automatic qualification.

What's Coming Up?

The weekend brings two events with impressive guarantees on the WSOP.com Online Super Circuit Series schedule. Event #8: $75,000 GTD NLH Double Stack 2x Re-entry with a $320 buy-in, will take place on Saturday (4 p.m. PST) and Event #9: $150,000 GTD NLH Monster Stack 3x Re-entry with a $525 buy-in, will take place on Sunday (4 p.m. PST).
